On the left, text in Italian reads 'ATTE significa autonomia,' highlighting the association's commitment to dignity, intergenerational integration, and well-being. ATTE, the Ticino Association for the Third Age, has been active since 1980 and counts nearly 11,000 members across the Canton of Ticino. It manages 14 daytime centers dedicated to senior well-being and offers a wide range of activities, including courses, travel opportunities, and an emergency alert service.
To strengthen its position as a key player at the cantonal level, ATTE entrusted Ander Group with redefining its brand identity and developing a new website.  The new portal will serve as the primary touchpoint for user experience, combining consistency and accessibility while ensuring the autonomous management of individual territorial units.

Brand identity revamp

Widespread presence, fragmented identity.

ATTE has established a strong presence throughout Ticino, becoming a key point of reference for the elderly population.

However, this widespread presence led to organizational fragmentation: each chapter, and sometimes even individual territorial groups, had their own website and managed communications independently.

This fragmentation created confusion among users, who had to navigate multiple platforms to get a comprehensive view of the Association’s activities. Additionally, the Association's image appeared fragmented and failed to establish itself as a single, authoritative entity.

This lack of consistency highlighted the need for a targeted approach to centralize communication and strengthen ATTE's identity.

Unified website on HubSpot

The creation of a new website, built on HubSpot, was the centerpiece of the solution developed by Ander Group. The portal was designed through a co-design process with the ATTE team, ensuring consistency and centralization of information on events, courses, and trips organized by the various branches.

Through a management system developed by our affiliate Goodcode, territorial managers can independently upload local activities, which are then seamlessly integrated and displayed on the website.

This approach has eliminated the need for users to consult multiple local sites, providing a single point of reference with advanced filters to help users find the most relevant initiatives.

The new platform not only enhances the user experience but also positions ATTE for a long-term strategy,  designed for today's 50-55 year olds, who are more accustomed to using digital tools.

Accessibility at the core

Accessibility was a key focus in the development of ATTE’s new website.

To ensure an inclusive browsing experience for all members, several dedicated features were integrated, including cursor enlargement, increased contrast for better readability, and adjustable font sizes.

These solutions make it easier to access information and services, particularly for users with visual impairments, reinforcing ATTE’s commitment to inclusive and accessible communication.

A renewed identity for ATTE's future

To address ATTE's organizational and communication fragmentation problems, Ander Group embarked on a project to revamp the Association's brand identity and digital presence.

Brand identity revamp

The first step was to modernize ATTE's brand identity while maintaining the recognizability built up over the years. We chose a softer shade of green, designed to be more adaptable to digital channels and to convey a more contemporary look without altering the Association’s visual identity. The logo was refined, correcting minor stylistic imperfections for a cleaner and more modern appearance. This approach preserved ATTE’s historical value while introducing a fresh, updated feel.

Consistency across all communication channels

The new visual identity has also been applied to communication materials, including flyers and other promotional tools.

Ander Group is developing a series of custom graphic layouts, perfectly aligned with the renewed brand identity. Once completed, these layouts will be made available through a dedicated Canva account, enabling the ATTE team to manage them autonomously. This allows the Association to customize, print, or distribute materials digitally with ease, using preferred channels and trusted printing partners.

These efforts represent a decisive step in strengthening ATTE’s presence, making it more effective today and ready for future challenges, with a keen focus on an increasingly  digitalized audience.

Results achieved

The project developed for ATTE eliminated communication fragmentation, unifying the Association’s image and simplifying access to information through the new website.

Ander Group specializes in designing effective solutions for companies and organizations with decentralized structures, helping them overcome these challenges and build a strong, cohesive digital presence. The success of the ATTE project is a tangible testament to this expertise.

“Thanks to the support of Ander Group, we were able to unify our image and improve communication with our members. The new website has allowed us to simplify access to information while preserving the autonomy of our local branches.”
