Geldis, an emerging player in the oral hygiene sector in Italy, faced the need to redefine its brand system to optimize the scientific credibility of its products while maintaining a strong distinctiveness in the market. The project aimed to create a uniform and reliable brand image, capable of communicating brand values, such as irony and professionalism, and making oral hygiene a pleasure. Through a new system, we reorganized the visual elements with a clear hierarchy and graphic consistency, thus consolidating the brand identity and strengthening the bond with consumers.

Initial analysis and identification of needs
The project began with a thorough analysis of the brand's current state and its competitors. During this phase, we identified a major critical issue: the lack of clear guidelines for the use of the brand's logo, colors, typefaces and other visual elements. This led to an inconsistent application of the visual identity across different materials, used in a disorganized manner, and poor differentiation of the product lines, "Oral Care" and "Appliance Hygiene," aimed at different target audiences.

Designing the new brand system
For the design of the new system, we reorganized and harmonized the visual elements that were scattered and lacking consistency on the packaging. The solution was the creation of a key smile-shaped element, which serves as an orderly container for the various graphic components. This element, strategically placed at the top of the packs, provides visual consistency and immediate recognition within the Oral Care sector. Inspired by the shape of a smile, it not only evokes positivity and care but also communicates the brand’s values clearly, striking a balance between functionality and aesthetics.

Frontify: brand manual at your fingertips

Frontify is a powerful brand management platform, essential for companies aiming to maintain a consistent and professional image across all communication channels.

For Geldis, it has become a game-changing tool that simplifies brand management and strengthens the connection between internal and external resources. Acting as a digital brand manual, it provides quick access to updated brand guidelines and assets, such as fonts, templates, and logos, ensuring everything is always current and easy to find.

This tool is easy to share with third parties, facilitating collaboration with figures outside the company.

Training the internal team on the use of the new system

We organized dedicated training sessions to explain the new brand system and its visual and communication guidelines. During these workshops, the team was familiarized with the Brand Manual and operational tools, gaining the skills needed to apply the system uniformly and consistently across all touchpoints.

The goal was to ensure clear and effective adoption, facilitating the integration of the new visual language into daily activities.

Results achieved

The redefinition of Geldis' brand system allowed the company to consolidate its identity and stand out in a competitive market. By managing all brand-related assets through Frontify, we provided the client with the tools needed to independently oversee and maintain their corporate image.
